Introduction
As my flora and fauna page started to grow, I decided to put the marine part of it on its own page to improve loading time.
And here it is. I put emphasis on what you might find when you snorkel on Bermuda.
The descriptions of the shown species are neither very scientific nor complete, so I'd like to introduce you to two books that might provide further information:
Sterrer, Wolfgang, Marine Fauna and Flora of Bermuda, John Wiley & Sons, New York, 1986
Sterrer, Wolfgang, Bermuda's Marine Life, Bermuda Zoological Society, 1992
The first one is a rather complete work, but somewhat scientific and expensive.
'Bermuda's marine life' is a simplified version for the general public, but much easier to read.
